Here is a pictorial description of Bo Torstenssons build of the IMS Novice Penny Plane, which he modified to suit the F1M class. With this model, he won the F1M class at the Degefors indoor meeting 2006. During the build, extensive use is made of different jigs. While not strictly necessary to build a model, they do significantly improve accuracy.
