About the model
A peanut model built by Georg Törnkvist, seen at the SMOS Oldtimer champs in 2010. The fuselage is built from blue foam plastic, while the wings are made of Depron.
About the origial
This aircraft was designed by Steve Wittman in 1970 for the then new Formula V racing category. It was a fabric covered, welded steel
tube construction, and proved very successful in competitions. Several others Witts Vs have since been built and raced.
The model represents Wittmans own prototype, N3259, now residing in the EAA museum in Oshkosh, USA.
