About the model
A peanut by Gustaf Enebog, built in traditional balsa and tissue technique. Weighing just 10 grams it was a good flyer, with a max duration of about 55 seconds. It won the peanut class at the 2007 Swedish Indoor Champs, but has since been destroyed in a house fire.
About the origial
The Tipsy S2 was a Belgian lightplane from the mid thirties, designed by E.O. Tips. It was powered by a 30-40 hp engine, and 19 aircrafts were built by Avions Tipsy.
The particular subject modelled, registered SE-AFT, was imported to Sweden. It is now displayed in Svedinos Museum.
