About the model
This beautiful electric powered model is built by Georg Törnkvist. The photos were taken at the 2011 Swedish Indoor Champs, where it made a few tentative trimming flights attached to a string.
About the origial
In 1911 the Deperdussin company was established as one of the leading manufacturers of monoplanes, and several different models were available.
This one was the most inexpensive, a single seater intended for schooling and private flying.
This particular machine has been preserved in the Shuttleworth collection, and is still in flyable condition!
